Clients
Recruiting staff can be a costly and time consuming process. At the Job Shop we make it our job to understand your needs and find a candidate to match. As a privately run business we can offer a more flexible approach in meeting our clients needs. We do this by offering the following solutions:
Permanent
We will present you with the only candidates we believe fit your requirements and salary expectations. For employing a successful candidate with the Job Shop you will pay a percentage of the starting salary or a fixed fee which is agreed in advance.
Temporary or Interim
These are placed with you either for a pre-defined time period to cover such items as maternity leave, or on a day-to-day or week-by-week basis to cover sickness/holiday or surges in work-load. If the candidate is retained on the agency payroll you pay the Job Shop the candidate's hourly rate, plus a mark up for Employers National Insurance, Statutory Requirements such as holiday pay and a small administration charge. Remember that placing additional work onto fewer staff can be counter productive leading to them making claims for stress or absenteeism.
Temp-Perm
Placements are usually agreed on day one or following an interview/job offer. Once a satisfactory trial period is complete the candidate transfers onto your payroll as a permanent member of staff. You pay a larger premium than for a temporary person but no fee to us at the end of the trial period. This method does not include refund guarantees, as with permanent staff.
